The 4-AA battery-powered U100 is equipped with a matte keypad that allows access with Anti-Peep Password, which enables you to add random digits to your passcode and protect it from prying eyes. This provides you with even more options for secure access. Choose from permanent, periodic and 1-time passwords. Whether you need to grant access to friends, services or guests in an Airbnb®, it's streamlined for your convenience. 1-time passwords are generated locally, ensuring that your home is always kept safe even if the lock is disconnected from the Internet. Even if there's a power outage of your Apple® devices, you can still tap your device and enter your home effortlessly. In case of emergency situations, a mechanical key and a USB-C® charging port can be used.

- Automations with Aqara and third-party devices - with an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub (sold separately), the U100 is compatible with third-party ecosystems like Google Home, Alexa, and IFTTT as well as Aqara Home app, allowing it to be easily integrated into a wide range of smart home setups and used in smart home automations; for example, when someone presses the Aqara video doorbell G4 (sold separately), you will be able to view who is on your porch and easily unlock the U100 in case it is needed
